The ecommerce platform used by Prostor lacked flexibility and required custom integrations. After a thorough requirements analysis, our business analysts proposed migrating to Magento 2 and developing custom modules for CMS integration. We also addressed the absence of upsells by implementing a custom bonus program to attract new customers and significantly increase sales.

Prostor is a distinguished retail chain specializing in a wide range of cosmetics and cleaning products. Established to meet the growing demand for high-quality, affordable daily essentials, Prostor has carved out a significant niche in the Ukrainian retail industry. With its commitment to customer satisfaction and innovation, Prostor has been rapidly expanding its footprint, catering to a diverse clientele across multiple locations since 2005. Currently, Prostor operates 427+ physical stores across 132 cities in Ukraine.
Client’s challenge
Despite having a strong physical store presence, Prostor encountered hurdles on their journey into the ecommerce space, primarily due to the limitations of their existing Horoshop ecommerce platform. These ranged from a lack of flexibility and integration capabilities to insufficient customer engagement strategies and security concerns.
As Prostor aimed to elevate its online presence and harness the full potential of digital retail, identifying and addressing ecommerce challenges became crucial.

Lack of platform flexibility
Prostor’s initial eсommerce platform was rigid and limited in its ability to integrate with Prostor’s custom CRM system, hindering the efficiency of operations and the ability to provide a personalized shopping experience.

Data migration and structuring
To lay the foundation for a robust ecommerce platform, our first step was to address the challenge of migrating Prostor’s extensive product and customer data to Magento 2. Easy user sign-in with OTP authentication
To enhance user experience and streamline the sign-in process, we have implemented one-time password (OTP) authentication for all user accounts, eliminating the need for users to remember complex passwords. When a user attempts to sign in, our platform automatically generates a unique OTP and sends it directly to the user’s registered mobile device via SMS, which the user then enters on the sign-in page to securely access their account. By adopting OTP authentication, we aim to simplify the login process while maintaining a high level of security for our users’ accounts, reducing the likelihood of forgotten passwords and minimizing the risk of unauthorized access through weak or compromised credentials.
Custom bonus programs and promotions
To tackle the challenge of enhancing customer engagement and driving sales, we developed tailored bonus programs and promotional mechanisms. These custom solutions were designed to attract new customers and incentivize repeat purchases, effectively turning casual browsers into loyal customers. By integrating these programs into the Magento 2 platform, we provided Prostor with powerful tools to boost sales and strengthen customer relationships.
Enhancing the user experience with a custom checkout page
